Creationism: the belief that introducing a conscious creator into the equation solves it, whereas in reality all it does is remove it one step. Who created the creator? Did it simply create itself out of nothing for no reason? Why is that more believable than the idea that the universe simply created itself out of nothing for no reason? Perhaps it never had a creation and has existed forever. If so, why is that more believable than the idea that the universe had no creation and existed forever?
We do not need magic and supernatural to explain the universe.
